Worker Injured From 35 Foot Fall

A worker in Florida fell while he was putting up lights on a tree. Workers say that the man was in his late 40s or early 50s. The accident occurred on December 1, 2014 around noon. The man was taken to Broward Health. Doctors are expecting him to survive.

Timothy Heiser, who is a Fire Rescue Deputy Fire Chief, was one of the workers at the scene, stated that the man’s fall was most likely caused by the ladder slipping, or him falling off the ladder. The man fell 35 feet. Occupational accidents, like the one in the aforementioned story, are very hard to avoid. People try their best to take precautions while they are working, but accidents may still occur.

Many people who are injured while on the job are forced to sit out of work for a long time. When one is injured and not working, it can be extremely difficult for them to provide for themselves or family. These people also have to deal with very high medical bills, which can make things even more difficult for them. The good news is that these people can contact a Coral Springs workers compensation lawyer and get compensated for their injuries.

The state of Florida should provide workers compensation to injured workers who have been on the job for more than two years. However, it is important to note that employees who are seeking workers compensation are not always treated fairly. In fact, many people who attempt to get workers compensation get their claims denied. That is why it is important to consult with one of our Coral Springs workers compensation injury attorneys.

If you are in need of an attorney, then you will need to contact Evan Ostfeld. There are many issues that can arise out of a workers compensation case. Fortunately, Ostfeld fights hard to protect the interest of people who have been injured while on the job. He has had experience handling a variety of cases.

Ostfeld understands the uncertainty and pain that can come along with being out of work. He also understands that people who are out of work often spend time worrying how they will make ends meet. This is why he wants to protect the interest of the injured people and try to get them the compensated for their loss time at work and injuries.
