Construction Worker Killed In Miami Condo Project

A construction worker was killed on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 while he was working on a Miami condo project. He was hit with a piece of equipment while he was working on the 37th floor. The equipment reportedly came loose when it was being lifted by a crane. The Miami-Fire Rescue was called to the scene, but the worker had already died by the time they arrived.

Biscayne Beach is the condo that the construction worker was working on before he died. Workers began building the condo in June 2014. They believe that the condo will be completed by December 2016. The New York Times conducted an investigation and found that construction-related injuries are on the rise. There have also been several other cases reported this year of construction workers getting injured on the job. In October 2015, a construction worker was injured while working at a Midtown Miami site. In January 2015, two construction workers were injured after a wall fell while they were working on the 27th floor of a Miami job site.

Construction work is among the most dangerous jobs in America. Many people are permanently injured as the result of an accident that they suffer while they are on the job. Some people, like the man in the aforementioned story, die after they suffer an on-the-job injury.

Fortunately, people who have been injured in an accident can contact a Miami workers compensation lawyer. If you are in need of a Coral Springs workers compensation lawyer, then you should contact Evan Ostfeld. Evan Ostfeld is an experienced Coral Springs workers compensation injury attorney. He has a thorough understanding of workers compensation laws. He will also be able to tell you about how these laws affect your case.

Getting compensated for a workers compensation claim can sometimes be difficult. There are several issues that may arise when one files a claim. However, Evan has been trained to take on the most difficult workers compensation cases. He will do everything in his power to make sure people get compensated. He knows how frustrating it can be to be out of work because of an on-the-job injury.
